It's time to shut down at least HALF of these universities. Scholarships on standardized test only. The SAT and ACT scores need to be the qualifier. Only the best of the best. Everyone else go into apprenticeship route. And I gaurantee the companies that hire apprentices will use the same standardized testing. We must place the SMARTEST people in position to succeed. Equal opportunity for all, not equal results !!!!!!

100% this. First, did any black people ask them for these concessions? Secondly these white jackasses are basically saying black folks are too retarded to pass on their own and are intellectually inferior to us. So we are going tilt the playing field. These virtue signaling dipshits are as bad as the Klan. If I were black I’d be absolutely insulted.

D’nesh D’Souza’s book, “Illiberal Education” does an excellent job of chronicling the collapse of education standards in The U.S. education system from the 60’s up to present. This first started in Ivy league schools and has spread like wildfire with socialist and Marxist leaning academic leadership. First entrance requirements were lowered for minorities, then when it was obvious they couldn’t compete, they made new “schools” of study, (AA studies, gender studies, etc.). to give them the ability to get a degree.

They'll likely have racial quotas soon, so it will still be relevant to the hiring process because the government will force it to be. You and I know even that won't be enough but that's another discussion.
The bachelors degree is being increasingly devalued overall anyway. As college becomes easier to get into and graduate from you'll see more and more jobs wanting masters degrees or higher, which leads to young people having to take out even more loans. It happened in parts of Europe where college is free. There were stories from the badly hit recession countries like Greece, Spain and Portugal where security guard companies were requiring at least a masters (that was Greece) and where everyone at a warehouse had a BA (an article I saw about Spain).

...and lowering grade requirements makes a class EASIER. Meaning you don’t have to study as much to get your grade, don’t have to master the material...

I will have to look into that. Ive not read it. Something perhaps akin to that however is Charlotte Iserbyt‘s “The Deliberate Dumbing Down Of America” which also points to an attempt to bring about a socialist/collectivist America through the children via our educational system that’s been policy driven over the years to bring all this about. It’s a good read, and well worth considering.

Anyone that thinks black people would be insulted by this is an idiot. It's all for the grabbing right now. Especially amongst the youngsters, they don't want to work for anything. They want everything at their disposal with zero effort. Not all youngsters, but an embarrassing percentage of them for sure.
