Universal just dropped the mic with this park.

LINK The video is the official announcement of the park and what to expect in it.

Lots of great stuff here for all ages.

Universal's been killing it lately. I haven't been to Nintendo Land yet but I heard it's awesome.

They really have. The new park in Texas, permanent HHN in Vegas, new park rumored in England and the opening of this in 2025 really cements them as the major player to beat.

Disney can become like Six Flags for all I care.

Was meh at the entrance, but when they start hitting their individual IP it hits its stride. Looks amazing, great content that has something anyone can get into.

They're also opening a park in Frisco, Tx in 2026.

If we leave politics out of it, Disney parks still offer a better product, but Universal is right on their heels.

As my kids got older they preferred the bigger rides of Universal, but outside of rides, Disney still offers the better experience.

I disagree that Disney offers a better experience now, and I am someone who spent years going to Disney World and wouldn't step foot in a Universal park. Currently, Disney is overpriced, understaffed, and way to complicated. It is stressful to vacation there. You pretty much have to spend extra money on Genie+ or Lightning Lane to be able to ride. You have to make a theme park reservation to even get into a park. It is beyond ridiculous.

Universal has better hotels, better transportation, and it is a much simpler vacation. I don't have to get up at 7am to try to make ride reservations. I don't have to make dining reservations six months in advance. I don't have to make park reservations. Plus, Hagrid's and Velocicoaster blow Disney coasters out of the water.

I can’t wait to go but I will wait until 2026. When they open in 2025 is going to be crazy. I love Universal and can’t believe how much Disney has fallen in their parks.

Not disagreeing with the rest of what you said but this

quote:

Is no longer.

And this

quote:

make dining reservations six months in advance

Is now 60 days. (Still sucks).

Interesting that Disney continues to kick Universal’s arse financially then. From a numbers stand point Universal isn’t even close to its big brother. Screen rides make me I’ll almost instantly so Universal has never appealed to me.

I hope they don't mess with Fast Pass. That's a worry of mine. It's so nice at Universal.
