You're an engineer on the UP?

Don't even need a water heater. I had guys jumping up and down (seriously) when I came by with a SD90MAC-H in the lead.

Foamers bust a nut when you roll by in a BNSF unit that has an older paint scheme. Heck we have a few older units (used mostly for yard switching) that are still Santa Fe or BN. They go apeshit over those.

Can any of this be translated for the non-foamers?

Think of 45 year old virgins going crazy over a freight train going by. These people are freaks. It's a fricking train.

Water heater=Steam locomotive
SD90MAC-H=Fairly rare diesel locomotive that put out 6000HP
Foamer=railfan. They foam at the mouth when a train goes by.

I like trains well enough and enjoyed operating them. Hated the pricks I worked for though.

Piloting CP's water heater 2816 and the MILW 261 were both fun trips as was running CP's Holiday Train.

The Holiday Train was kinda nerve wracking however as there were 500 people lined up right up to the tracks when I'd roll into town. And they didn't want to move from in front of the train when it was time to go.

Which one did you work for? I mean Class 1s are all the same with how shitty they treat you

Duh. Just saw you worked for the CP

We had Hunter on CP as well before he went to CSX where he finally died.

Surprised someone didn't firebomb his fricking house.

EHH might be the most hated man in all of railroading.

EHH killed 2816.

Do foamers geek out over rail cars or just the engines?

And hopefully hes burning in hell right now. That guy ruined so many lives. Sadly his spirit lives on with other class 1s adopting PSR. Hope they enjoy the profits now. shite will eventually fall to shite.

Only engines unless it's an excursion with PV's or a PV is on the tail end of an Amtrak train.
