Odds are no. Pretty much All the loaded coal that runs through Alliance goes southeast to Lincoln then to either Creston, IA or Kansas City from there it goes to various power plants. There is a train that goes to a coal plant in Hastings NE. They just run that down the Giltner sub

Was pretty sure they ran over the old NP to the Twin Cities. Ran hundreds of those.

I haven't worked at BNSF for long so I honestlydont know lol. I got hired in late 2017 after the last big furlough was over. I started early last year.
I'm hoping to have at least 3 more years on before I get furloughed

This meme is super accurate
On the road for 36+ hours home for 10, phone rings, gone for another 36+

Railroader slang for a rail fan. People who's main fetish in life is freight trains. These guys would rather see a BNSF locomotive with an older paint scheme than get some hot pussy.

This one engineer on reddit knows how to do shite right.

Had too much shite in my grip to stuff that thing in there.
Did consider getting a reverser machined out of aluminum and polished up but never got around to it. Still have a box of them somewhere.

my favorite are the guys who make well over 100K a year but somehow have no money at all. They blow everything on pickups, side by sides, motorcycles, and lots of other stupid shite. I know one guy who brings a Yeti cooler on trips. Its like he doesnt know that there are refrigerators on the trains and ones in the hotels/bunkhouses.

He was the CEO at Canadian Pacific and then CSX. Infamous for implementing PSR or precision scheduled railroading which is basically the railroads’ version of running lean. It’s a complete gimmick that boosts stock dividends by consolidating assets - reducing the number of trains on the mainline and laying off a shite ton of people. Basically the guy killed thousands of jobs to stuff his and the shareholders’ pockets. It was a complete disaster operationally that pissed off the majority of customers. Thankfully the guy croaked a year or so ago.

They say Hunter Harrison died because he was off air for longer than 4 hours.
