To me LA isn't rude

It's just lame as shite and filled with strivers who lack any self awareness

That said, if you engage a New Yorker, tell em you're from Louisiana.. you'll find common ground. New Yorkers and Louisianans share a kind of unique bond.

Particularly New Yorkers (city) and New Orleanians...the ties between the cities go back a long way and if you speak yat, you really fit in!!!

Seattle. People there just seem like they're all pissed off at the entire world for some reason

If I had to look at gray skies every day, I wouldn't be in a good mood either. But yeah Seattle sucks.

Baton Rouge people, regardless of race, hate northerners. All others, are welcome.

Any city, Cali

I've only been to California once. I went to San Diego and stayed in Orange Beach. I couldn't believe how friendly people were. It was the most friendly place I've ever been,I'm not even joking. I did see a homeless dude steel a tip off a table at an outdoor patio. He wasn't very friendly.

All the Chicago answers are funny. It’s not a rude city whatsoever.

You have to remember that most of us are assholes so it makes sense that we have so many negative interactions.

They are nice to visitors but hate you if you dare move to "their city" no one else can have it.

What's funny is the ones that tend to have that attitude usually moved there from somewhere else. The whole west coast is like that, in my experience.

Seattle is my #1 answer.

Boston is pretty depressing, but I found the people OK.
