St Louis is a shithole anyway.

I deal with houses and real estate there every day and it looks like a 3rd world country.

New Orleans and a large portion of Louisiana is far worse than St. Louis. Louisiana is the armpit of America.

And before you tell me I'm wrong, I've spent a lot of time in Louisiana and New Orleans...enough to form a strongly negative opinion about the people and the culture.

The people and culture in NOLA, or LA as a whole? Two very different groups.

New Orleans is going through a resurgence and is experiencing awesome growth and regentrification in many parts of the city. It's also known as a worldwide travel destination.

St Louis could blend in fairly well in the middle of Iraq or Africa. The whole reason I even fool with it is because there are tons of vacant and neglected houses because 80% of the area is ghetto and the banks can't find anyone to take care of their "assets". St Louis is also in the top 4 of the most violent cities in America behind only Detroit, Oakland, & Memphis. NOLA didn't crack the top 10.

Don't get the EPA involved. They'll set the nuclear waste on fire and call it a day.

This. They will only make it worse.

Difficult to do when the fire is deep underground. It's like putting out an underground coal mine fire...it just can't be done.
Can't you just pump water into the landfill?

Not going to make too many friends with this sentiment.

How close did you say you were to the site again?

Stout,

I see you're a little sensitive about NOLA and Louisiana. One man's armpit is another man's paradise...amirite?

Like I care. LOL. I care about as much as you all calling St. Louis a shithole when you have zero clue. Trolls trolling trolls...right? See how it's done?

You call St. Louis a shithole and I'll call Louisiana the same. A spade is a spade.

Grow thicker skin.

It was a shithole before Katrina and was a shithole after for a long time. It is getting better, but as with every major metropolitan area, there are tons of shitty areas still sucking the life out of the city.

St Louis has bad areas, but like New Orleans, it has great areas, historical areas, and more than that, over 2 million people living in the metro. And you think, "Ah, frick it. It's a shithole." Go frick yourself.

It's funny. They call St. Louis a shithole completely based on one street in Ferguson that non-St. Louis thugs burned due to our national government giving radicals permission to act like criminals.

They have no clue what they're talking about in regards to St. Louis, yet they get awful defensive of NOLA and Louisiana. Isn't that rich?

They sure can dish it but certainly can't take it. It's as if they think I (Killz) am just going to roll over and take it.

You know better than that. frick these uneducated arse eaters.

I am not sensitive. I know what NOLA is and I haven't even been to NOLA in 5+ years. I am 3.5 hours away and I have no reason to go to NOLA but have been to it several times in the past.

I just know what I see and deal with every day in St Louis and I am not basing my opinion on Ferguson alone like you think. Comparing NOLA and St Louis right now is pretty laughable.

I have several crews working in 14 different Counties including the heart of the shithole St Louis County so I see and deal with plenty there. When I say it's a shithole I am saying that with plenty to back it up.

The amount of houses we have that get broken into where they steal copper, A/C units, and anything they can get their hands on is 10 times worse in St Louis than any other area I cover. Just last week we had to have squatters arrested out of 2 different houses. That doesn't happen as often anywhere else. I have people in several states FYI and St Louis is the absolute worst as far as dilapidated properties and whole abandoned areas that look comparable to Fallujah or something. That may change soon though as I have been looking into covering Cleveland and Philly.

LOL STOUT is never one to knight for NOLA. I on the other hand, may. But I've never been to St. Louis so I cannot judge.

Good luck with your poisonous noxious nuclear cloud.

One happened and the other might...maybe...could happen.
