That’s basically the entire population of The United States getting a better paying job
Posted on 7/13/19 at 1:50 pm to HailHailtoMichigan!
Yeah they can thank the U.S. for these jobs.

A declining birth rate, a water supply that is now a priority for the country, and positioning itself as a larger base for outsourcing (IT support and the Medical Industry) are all factors in India slowly getting its shite together (no pun intended). It is still quite poor overall, but that is changing.
One more thing, the population in India has an affinity for gold. As they have increased their earning power, they have continued to buy more and more. As long as gold holds it's value, then their "saved wealth" (kind of what having gold is, just outside of a bank...necklaces and rings etc.) will increase. I wonder if that is a factor in their determination.

You think the world is a better place as Europe and America, two beacons for law and liberty are being dismantled?
You must be a socialist/commie cum gurgler and I can understand why you would think that.
America is just exporting its wealth while we pile up debt to the moon. There is no plus here.
You driven around Louisiana lately? Cities are about dead. And if you don't know that then that is on you.
World is changing and it was a better place because of the rise of republics based off god given rights. Those nations are being dismantled as we speak through influx of migrants from shitholes.

Sorry you live in a shithole. It's fantastic where I'm at.

Uhh, strong reaction. I'm sure Indians are moving other places and sending money back home too. I'm just pointing out that this isn't some sort of strictly Indian Govt achievement or something

Exactly, and it’s pretty clear that people aren’t even clicking the link. It’s not just a bunch of Indian baws getting higher paying jobs.
It’s looking at multiple aspects of poverty like access to better healthcare, education, working conditions and safer environments to live in. Not only are individuals getting better off, but entire communities and regions are becoming better places to live. That’s a pretty big deal.

Made possible by a market economy.
But frick it, let's throw it all out here and implement a socialist economy that has never succeeded because muh feelings.

Tell me a better country and safer place to be than America and or in all of Europe right now?
We live in the most prosperous, advantageous time in history, and we keep looking behind us like someone is coming to take everything from you. The news wants you to think this country/world is unraveling but news flash, it isn’t.

Some Econ historians are calling it the single fastest reduction in poverty in the history of humanity (but not on per capita basis, that crown still belongs to Germany 1947-1957)
Since 1990 China has lifted 800 million people out of poverty . I assume they haven't had a better 10 year run or never suffered from the same "extreme" poverty as in India?
