Just got back from NYC. Had three issues with mentally ill homeless people in 5 days there. I can't imagine dealing with that every week.

It's a problem in every major city I imagine.
My 7yr old son and I went to the Saints game yesterday and passed 3 different homeless dudes out of their fricking minds on our walk back to the truck. What do you do with these people? There's nowhere to put them. You can't help them with rehab. I don't know what the answer is.

Build a jail-like facility. If they aren’t committing crimes, they don’t need to be in a cell. Make it more like a commune. Give them access to the drugs they crave and let them end it on their terms. You can connect it to the city landfill and then they don’t have to dumpster dive.
