The key point.
Do you honestly think that balloon would have even reached CONUS if Trump had President?

This happened Tuesday. Airports shut down for a few hours. 2 people injured, none dead, some damage in one region. Xi and other leaders not scheduled to arrive until Thursday.
I won't pretend to predict what will happen in this war, or any other. Ukraine could make any number of awful decisions tonight. Your dedication to finding the most sensationalistic headlines about this war confirms your dedication to carrying water for a garbage dictator.

Yes, the guy that is warning and terrorizing the highest ranking foreign diplomats, on foreign soil is much different than the person you are referencing. Much different.
Who you pulling for in the battle for the subcontinent?

99% of his post history is posts that are designed to foment dissension, pitting some group against another. Just like JB he posts like someone sitting in the offices of Unit 5477 in the FSB building. No sports, no movies, no food, no general LA banter just wedge issue posts usually harvested from X.
There are several relatively new, high post count members that are either on a paid mission, a mission of the heart, or an alter who doesn't want the slime of Putin and Xi spread all over their primary account.

If you idiots don’t think this will affect the USA are delusional.Eventually all countries will suffer ,there’s no way around it.All it will take is 1 psycho world leader to get pissed and use a nuke.People are HUMAN and fail to make wise decisions when pushed to the limit. My fellow posters please pray for peace in this world because the way things are going now 1incident could start WW3.

The pinned thread will hyperventilate every time a Russian drone hits a Ukrainian apartment building but dozens to hundreds of indiscriminate drones sent into dense Russian urban areas by Ukraine are completely ignored

Putin chose to play every card he's been dealt. Fortunately for the world, he's wound up with a weak hand, because had he overrun Ukraine as he had hoped, you'd be a fool to assume he'd have stopped there.
I'm not suggesting he'd have kept pushing into Western Europe, but he'd almost certainly have attempted to annex more former Soviet territory. If successful, he might even have targeted former Warsaw Pact nations.
Global tension and the likelihood of nuclear war would increase tenfold with every new campaign.
That's not "supporting peace." That's a grown man, with a Mossberg 500, hiding under a desk, and hoping the shooter stays in the fourth-grade classrooms, telling himself he should stay put because if he tries to stop it, the shooter might set off pipe bombs.
The Uvalde PD approach to global politics.

Poor bastard got assigned a backstory of going to college and getting a degree only to flame out because he was too dumb to progress past menial admin tasks making 60k a year (in 2025).
"Hey Alexei, I got your new assignment and you're a fricking loser this time hahahaha"

It wasn’t USA Air Defense that failed keeping a balloon out of our airspace. It was a collection of DEI joint chiefs lead by a numb skull commander in chief.
All replaced now, we’re good !

I’m not concerned with peace outside this country. My motivation is simple: stop sending U.S. tax dollars and troops to defend other nations’ borders.
I understand your point about the broader implications and what could happen. But it’s hard for me to lose sleep over it when the very countries you mentioned—those supposedly under threat from Putin—aren’t paying their share into NATO and/or doing everything they can to arm themselves. And it’s been this way for decades.
call me an American chauvinist, but your inability to be prepared is not my problem. And this motto applies for every other country, no exceptions. Defend your own borders or don’t exist.

How awesome would it be to find out that the drones they launched were ordered on TEMU?
