Just because the article says grenade launchers, doesn't mean they are grenade launchers...The Daily Mail, while entertaining, is not known for pulitzer prize writers...

I didn't think there was a trigger for what the article claimed was a grenade launcher. The trigger you can see is clearly for the rifle portion of what the article claimed was a "grenade launcher".

I've seen Type 88's with the regular banana magazine. I've never seen it with a tubular magazine.
And BTW, the Type 88 is a knock off of the AK-74, not the PP-19. This is what a normal Type 88 looks like....

By the way, the Type 88 predates the PP-19 by almost a decade.

Maybe because both are AK platforms with helical magazines. When you first glance at the photos it appears they are carrying PP-19s.

A) I didn't have an opinion on the weaponry one way or the other.
B) If someone makes a thread saying "LOL look at these PP-19s" and it turns out they're actually Type 88s, then you'd have a point. Otherwise, you're the OP who was wrong, so you're the one who has to deal with it.

Both the Type 88 and PP-19 are based off the AK-74.

I can see the errors here. Article says they are grenade launchers, Darth says, them ain't no grenade launchers. Technically he's right. But he botches the actual gun. Because it is a real working gun. Just not the one the article claims. In his defense I actually thought it was a shitty fake grenade launcher also.
