Write me a novella, chief.

This is why we can't have nice things around here. Was supposed to be a funny thread about this article saying NK special forces armed with "grenade launchers" turns into a gotchafest.
What I want to know is why is it so important to so many that for once I was wrong about something? So, I didn't know NK has developed this version of an AK? I'm not some all-knowing being. There are things I don't know and there are things I'm going to be incorrect upon. I know this comes as a shock to some, why I don't know.
PLEASE!!!
Here is your first post:

But take a good close look and tell me what's wrong....
Here is your second post:

It's not the face paint.
And finally your third:

Bingo. That "grenade launcher" is blocking where the magazine goes and it lacks any visible trigger or way to even load it. It looks like they took some PVC, painted it black, and zip tied it to and Airborne version of an AK.
You thought it was funny because you thought they put fake grenade launchers and wanted to make fun of how little their military knows but all you ended up doing was showing how little you know. Sad.

Hey, fricknuts. I admitted I was wrong. I'd never seen a Type 88 rifle with a tube magazine.
(ETA: That was the other dude)

Thinking that this:
Is this:
is what you're knocking people for?
You thought they zip-tied a PVC pipe to an AK-47 dude.

Well, after you say you were wrong for the fifth fricking time and there's still a parade of dipshits who keep coming along claiming you can never admit when you're wrong, you tend to lose patience with their stupidity.

I didn't care to know the backstory.
Carry on.
Carry on.

If you look at those pictures, it's obvious they're two different weapons. The only thing that looks similar is they both have a tubular magazine and safety switch. Past those two things, there are obvious differences
1. One is clearly longer than the other
2. They have different muzzle breaks
3. One clearly has a larger ejection port than the other
4. one has a very visible gas tube while the other does not
Saying those two weapons are similar enough to easily mistake one for the other is like saying a Thompson Submachinegun is easily mistaken for a PPSH-41 because they both have a drum magazine.
It's North Korea. They've done worse than this numerous times. Remember when they claimed their Dear Leader scored like an 18 on a round of golf because he got a hole in one on every fricking hole?

This shite has turned hilarious. Self annointed world's foremost leading expert on all things military decides to start a thread making fun of someone for doing something stupid in the military, only to end up being the one that was wrong. Awesome thread. Would read again.

Still can't admit when you're wrong. Pathetic. Stick to trying to have e-sex with dudes on the internet. It's all you're good for.

Don't forget, he's forgotten more about guns than we will ever know.
Eta, this thread proves how much he's forgotten.

Where have I ever claimed to be the "world's foremost leading expert on all things military"? Yeah, I know a lot of stuff. But I don't know everything nor have I ever claimed to know everything. When I'm wrong, I admit I'm wrong. When I don't know something, I admit I don't know something. Just because I know a lot, doesn't mean I know everything or even think I know everything.

Anyone pointed out those aren't grenade launchers in the OP?

No. I never said anything about forgetting more about guns "than we will ever know". I said that about one guy. And I said that because he showed he didn't know what a gas tube was on an automatic rifle.
And I'm sorry, if someone doesn't know what a gas tube is, then they don't know shite about rifles.

You know if you didn't get so wound up that this thread would be on page 5 by now...
