Part of it is when we started labeling any kind of aberrant or criminal behavior a "disease" or mental health condition. You can't hold people responsible if it's a "disease".

A larger part of it is one of our political parties supports anything and everything that destabilizes or destroys our society.

I donate to a local charity here in Birmingham, Jimmie Hale Mission. This is a place where someone can go and get help. They will feed you, send you to drug treatment, help you get a GED, help with job placement, and even get you clothes for an interview. The only requirement is that you stay clean and TRY to break the cycle. The reality is that we've enabled the homeless to continue to be homeless.

I was friends with the director there. I told him my brother was going with his church to feed the homeless downtown. I figured he'd be proud that someone was doing that. He looked at me like I had just kicked his dog. I'll never forget him begging me to tell my brother to not go do that. Changed my perception 100%.

it's permeated every level, had Fox NFL pre-game on yesterday, Strahan goes on a rant about how 70%? of NFL players are black and we need more black head coaches, of course all of the other pc pussies joined right in with him, there are only 32 fricking jobs

Never quite understood this line of thinking. I could just as easily make the argument that a higher % of NFL should be white to reflect the coaching staff front offices and population. It makes just as much sense as their argument.

Sure you do.

People with that line of thought want status quo where they currently have an numbers advantage, and they want "equality" where they don't currently have a numbers advantage.

It's not about representation. It's about control.

If it weren't stabbing an innocent member of the public this thug would be painted as an ambitious young man with aspirations of going to college.

The progressive way to end racial disparities in crime, is to stop criminalizing certain antisocial behavior, such as theft.

Its as dumb as it sounds.

Probably had nothing to lose and wants to end up in jail (free room and board).

Need to bring capital punishment back to the state. I'm all for these fools being executed in the manner they executed their victims also.

Yep. She's no more at risk than a 19 year old male, so I'm told.

It enrages me that people insist on giving money to these frickers begging on the corner. It only attracts more of them.

Agree (sadly) with dad. Stop letting children go to school or live in liberal shite holes.

understand staffing issues but I don’t get how the owner thinks it’s ok to leave a 19 year old female to close up a business alone at night

Because she is allowed to pursue any employment she wants? Would likewise be rough to no tell her she’s not allowed to work shifts.
