Not possible.

1. It's definitely possible to get a DWI on a bike.

2. The poster I was referring to was black, so it's not just possible but likely.

Recently I went Uber one way, and cabbed back. Touro to Bonnabel.

Uber = $12.95
Cab = $23.75

frick a cab. They'll get zero of my business unless they get normal people prices

WHAT? why would I just roll up to the party unless I have a ticket or an invite with a date?

I'm going to Orpheus with the girl I went its last year.

Due to the job I have I do a lot of work for fundraisers and stuff and being in the service industry it's pretty easy for me to get my hands on free tickets for almost all galas and half of balls and stuff around Carnival fwiw

For New years in 2016, the surge was 10x in BR.

Unless the case law has changed recently it isn't, bikes do not fall under the DWI statute.

No one is going around during Mardi Gras with so many people around and using a cutting torch to steal bikes.... I'm sure they would be better served doing it on regular weekends if that was their fancy

True..

OT kind of but did you know these master locks can be opened pretty easily with just two hammers? A guy I used to work with who oddly enough was from chalmette, showed me that

Not in LA. There was a case that made it all the way to the LA Supreme Court over a guy who got stopped while riding his bike drunk and got charged with DWI. He appealed to Supreme Court and won. Look up State vs John Carr

so do you just roll up to these parties by yourself and sneak in hoping that you can hook up with some drunk chick? How you going to get her home if you roll up on your bike?

Leave the bike and call an Uber. Nice piece of booty is worth paying the Uber surge charge.

Did I say anything about using a chain and masterlock to lock up your bike?

In my defense, I did say "off-topic"

Considering the extra amount of time and effort, why wouldn't a company charge more?

What's the box? That means anywhere from St. Charles Avenue to the Mississippi River, and Napoleon Avenue to Canal Street.

Damn that is pretty smart of them.

The risk of someone stealing a bike doesn't come close to the convenience of being able to fly around town and get anywhere you want. Just lock it up in a smart spot and don't forget where you leave it
