Cali will collapse after enough tech (which is their economy) companies leave. Hopefully it will be built up again with common sense.

Like Detroit has?

Once liberals destroy an area, they don't take an introspective look by saying "how could our policy decisions have caused or exacerbated this". Instead, they say, "well we just didn't go far enough" and then double-down on their destructive policies.

California is going to be a shithole for a loooooooooong time.

Trump got 34% of the vote in California in the 2020 election. Why do people act like everyone from a state is the same?

Cali and New York are still pretty high when doing % change.

Iilinois and New York being the most.

Louisiana is in the negative too.

yess but its 2 fold, its all one way out only so no one, no one is moving to cali so the few trucks they do have have to be paid to be shipped over there and they lose money that way so dont want to pay to do that

Because people just like to run with things they hear on a surface level without listening to any opposing viewpoints. I got blasted for calling out some guy for using pejoratives, e.g. communist, liberal, etc., and got accused of all sorts of things radical things, even though my post history is unabashedly anti-woke. It's just a lazy "if you're not with us you're against us" mindset.

The fact illegals are pouring over the border and California is *still* losing people is pretty damn bad.

What’s funny is they are blaming slowed down immigration on their loss.

They need the illegals to not lose seats.

“The pandemic is horrendous, but people are not moving away based on that,” Levy said. “This is mostly about immigration.” Immigration could rebound under the Biden administration, Levy said, including more international students and farmworkers under new, less restrictive visas, and a more welcoming attitude to tourism and refugees. But an aging population and fewer children will continue to undercut gains in California, he predicted.

Because it gives people the chance to post "the worst thing about is is they'll move to other states and vote the same way" 10 times a thread like it's an original thought.

Not just that, the 6,006,429 votes he received equal approximately the same as the total number of votes he got in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee combined (6,066,832)

The worst part is that most of these people will go to new places and vote the same way they voted in Cali. The best part about Cali was concentrating all of the idiots into one place, now were dispersing them throughout the country. Dangerous situation.

People in red states could stop selling to Californians.

But they won’t.

Fun Fact:
There are more Republicans in the state of California than there are people in the state of Louisiana.

It's just impossible to overcome Los Angeles and Bay Area politics as a whole. This is why the state needs to be chopped up into 3 separate states.

You could say that if all you looked at was this number and took it at face value. California's population is taking a hit for the first time maybe ever. People are leaving the state at record high numbers.

Good thing for California the tech companies aren't leaving.

And no, that is not all of their economy. Not even close.

Always love seeing the know nothings prove just that.

All the folks I know in California are conservative as all hell. They're just outnumbered by the batshit insane freaks in San Fran and LA.
