If you dont want to deal with other peoples dogs or are not a dog person then dont go to,the dog park. Dogs interacting with people and dogs is all part of it. If you want private playtime with your dog do it at home. If you throw a ball, stick or any toy be prepared to deal with other dogs.

Is the parking lot supposed to be some kind of substitute for a Sonic?

so your dog went over to stranger and was bothering him trying to throw a ball to his dog / play with his dog and you just sat and watched until he made you come take it away?
If you go to a dog park you should know this situation will happen. Quit bitching.
SOunds like you are the a-hole and not the other people.

Then says his dog is a service dog .
he probably had to get a "service dog" trashy arse letter in order to keep his dog in his trashy arse rental complex he lives in.

Which is why I don’t go to dog parks or own a dog. Still doesn’t stop a dog jumping on you because their shitty owner can’t properly hold a leash. Then all you hear is but but she’s friendly, or she just wants to play.

When i was at the park one time some shitheads dog was going around teasing other dogs with a deflated basketball. Would go up to a dog and drop it and when the other dog when to tak it would try to fight. Well he tried that with my doberman and at first my dog backed up and the dog started chasing him. My dog though he was playing for a bit until he was nipping his legs. Thats when he took a 180degree turn and the other dog ran into him and fell to the ground. My Dobe stood over him growling, then walked away.
I was a very proud dog owner that day.
I stopped going to dog parks because too many people thin the dog park is their dog sitter and do not pay attention to their dog while there.

My dog was just barking every so often not like non stop. When he would fake the toss of,the ball she would bark. The Husky would jump when he faked it and so did his dog, but the other owner and I needed to get control of our dogs.

Pit bulls are a menace to society.

This is not "teasing the dog" you trashy douche. It's a common game. Control your animals so the man can play with his dog.

Who gets pissed that other dogs want the ball? My dog loves a ball and I know others do as well. If others come to play, I just throw it. My dog loves chasing other dogs if they take the ball before he can.
So it saves my arm and I get to just watch his arse chase another dog and play.
Not sure I agree on you trying to fight the dude, but he is an arse for teasing the dogs.

If he wanted to play with his dog without interruption he should not be at a public dog park. You have to understand that when you get out of the car

That is why I go early or late to avoid the masses people (as i said) and I probably am a bit of a dick, but I am also a courteous dick who makes sure my dog isn't bothering other people.
I don't get upset at it happening, its a dog and I expect that to happen. The annoying thing is when the other owners not paying attention to their dog and just assume that it isn't bothering you.
The "dog park" i go to is huge and there is plenty of room for you to go off on your own and play with your pup - that is if the other owners make sure their dogs don't run across the way to bother other people who aren't in the "main pack" of people / animals.
The same thing happens walking your dog in the street outside of the dog park "oh he is fine, he is friendly" while slowly walking the 3 blocks their unleashed / roaming dog has run to come bother us on our walk. Quite annoying.
