The video of the shooters go pro is on Drudge. Wish I never watched it.
That wasn't a Go Pro, it was a vertically held cell phone. That's among his list of crimes today.

It did not look go pro quality. He walks up to them with the gun out and none of them look. He puts gun away and I think she looks, then he approaches. Waits for the camera to film her and then he whispers something and then starts shooting at the two of them. The reporter is hit maybe four or five times before she turns and runs off.
His camera cut out before the live feed did.

The have to be. Could you imagine how terrible it would look on TV if a reporter on scene turned and looked at every movement that happens around them. They're trained to not do that.
I see your point

Want to make it the longest thread? What kind of phone did the killer film on? Android or iphone?

You've been here as long as I have. I'm assuming that's a joke.

What happened to the lady that was being interviewed?
Posted on 8/26/15 at 4:25 pm to Walt OReilly
good question, and this got me thinking too...how did they not see a guy standing there with a gun? maybe they were locked in on the camera, but it seems like they'd see him out the corner of their eye or something HHMMMMMMMM

Don't mean to laugh with this situation, but I lol'd out loud

I would think reporters are used to having people walk up and watch them and hope they might get on camera.
I am sure it is pretty common, so I would not be surprised if they did not see him. Or maybe she recognized him and just thought he was there for whatever and did not see the gun. He did have his phone out filming

She was on camera doing an interview. She can't look away for someone walking up. Camera guy was obviously locked in. The only person that might have broken and looked away would have been the person being interviewed.
BTW, July road rage incident where Vestern was filmed is out.
Not sure if brand new info.

I mused some 40-50 pages ago, I wonder if the guy let them know he was there before the live footage began, either by confronting them or letting them know he was there somehow, but they kept going since they were going live. I did see the video from the station (not the first hand video) and after knowing what I knew, it almost seemed like she looked nervous.
I see this now...maybe he warned them and they called his bluff or something. Or it was a live feed and "the show had to go on"...
