Fear mongering? Maybe don’t name your product Autopilot when it’s clearly just an advanced cruise control.

Are you applying this logic to the airliner industry as well?

More so the speed. Did you see Paul Walkers Carrera GT? Looked pretty similar.

There still are pilots present in case something goes wrong. It's not fully in the hands of the machine.

Yeah, a small one and if it starts getting warmer than it should or starts to swell I'll know about. Were you asleep when Samsung had battery issues a few years ago of have you conveniently forgotten because you thought you were going to make a valid point here?

To be fair, this is a requirement of all of these advance cruise control systems as well. People haven't been following the requirement and they have been paying the price.

Have two of them collided head on, yet? Makes me wonder what those results would be....You "probably" don't want to be around the vapors from burning lithium being dosed with water without a breathing apparatus...

Exotics are not highly tested /touted/built with safety in mind. Safety adds weight and reduces speed. Also many mid engine cars are designed to separated with impact.

I wasn't talking about separation, I was responding to him saying electric cars burst into flames on impact. It's the speed that does it, to all types of cars, similar to Ryan Dunns crash.

The passenger in the car was a beloved LSU fan from Louisiana. Actually posted on TD. Due to much false information from the media- none of you have correct information to be making the disgusting comments you are making about him. Shame on all of you and I pray that you NEVER EVER experience the pain we are feeling. He went for a ride in a friend and clients new car and we are now forever without him in this world. How about instead of making your vulgar and inhuman comments you pray for his wife, grandchild, brothers and sisters.
