You prevent crime by removing criminals. I wonder how many crimes we could spot daily with cameras in the halls and offices of government officials monitored by citizens?

Friend got hit by drunk driver in Houston. Cameras on businesses is how the driver was caught and arrested.

Cameras helped remove the criminal.

Election workers ----- no cameras ----- corruption
Judges ----- no cameras ----- corruption
Government workers ----- no cameras ----- corruption
Politicians ----- no cameras ----- corruption

That's a very utopian view on it. Police presence and surveillance do reduce crime, they do not prevent it. The dregs of society do not GAF. They should not be part of society. Proponents of the 3 strike rule in general view murder as an exception murder is a 3rd strike even on an 0-0 count.

And not one POS bystander lifted a finger to help that guy, or at the very least check on him.
