you want to move it to a more dangerous city?

It kills me when they complain about food deserts. That area of BR used to be BR with stores a plenty. There’s a reason while they are no longer there but the politicians and the grocery companies won’t say it.

I'm not sure why people are surprised by these things when moving next to an airport.
Imagine the dumbasses who moved into the French Quarter and demanded a noise ordinance.

Move LSU to New Orleans

The airport is the only guaranteed way to run into someone you're beefing with and get a chance to "talk". This isn't surprising..

There is obviously a grand conspiracy within big grocery to deny these neighborhoods nutritional resources. Their dedication to the cause is immense as they bear the financial burden in lieu of the vast profits they would assuredly rake in with these locations.
Kidding about the vast food desert of NBR is not only racist but sickening. The disenfranchised people lack easy access to fruits and vegetables required to sustain a successful life. It's pure white privilege to be able to purchase bell peppers without giving a second thought to our friends north of Florida Blvd.

Hi Nabor on Winbourne, Jones Creek, and Florida Blvd sell the same bell peppers but it somehow becomes better in a different location by magic.

Now they're saying one of them was an ex BRPD

East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana records show Almutakabbir M Sims held one job between 2008 and 2011. One of the most recent records in 2011 lists a job of Police Officer and a pay of $20.65/HR. This is 19.1 percent higher than the average pay for co-workers but 40.1 percent lower than the national average for government employees.

My first race relations experience happened near the BR about about 40 years ago.
We had went to pick up someone and stopped to eat somewhere here up that way. My mom accidentally left her purse wallet on top of the car and it’s fell off as we were leaving.
Got a call the next day from a resident who found it and my dad and I went after work to get it. The guy was drunk and said he was real happy about the money he found in the wallet.
His two kids chased me around the car trying to hit me for a bit.

Can't wait to land on Monday night. Hopefully they will be all asleep after praising Christ's Resurrection all Sunday.

I try to steer clear of writing about specific incidents involving homicide(s). I honestly didn't even read about this shooting because it seems like every 10 minutes I'm getting a pop up about "another shooting."
Could definitely make a good "Baton Rouge Airport Adds Murder Scene for Incoming Visitors to Boost ‘Authenticity’ of Tourist Experience" story though. No doubt

One business executive was pissed off at another business executive for cutting in front of his Gulfstream and landing his plane first.

My company booked us the hotel just south of the jail across from the airport for a trip about 15 years ago. We didn’t even get out of the car once we pulled into the parking lot and had them get us a spot across town. Had a conversation with the lady in charge of setting up accommodations once we returned. She wasn’t doing much research.
