Good question. I would also like to know those that were enabling him that evening. We need to start holding those people civilly or criminally liable.

Thanks
Next question that I’m sure will come up is how many times, if any, has he been stopped & got out of a DWI because his Dad is a cop?

This really doesn't happen here anymore. Not because of the consent decree, but because there's no way to keep anything like that quiet. The units all have dash cams, body cams are on before they even approach the car and find out who it is, etc. Even the superintendent's son was booked the day after his swearing in. With everyone trying to get ahead, cover ups of something like a DUI are almost impossible. Look at what Gernon is going through in the 8th over a traffic ticket with LSP.

In reality, the issue in New Orleans is there really are no DUIs unless it's accompanied by an accident because there is no traffic division or proactive patrol. The only way to get a DUI is to hit something or do something so crazy that the police feel like they'll get reported if they don't pull you while they're working through a backlog of 20+ calls. Cantrell has restored some semblance of traffic in the wake of pulling the cameras. I've seen them shooting radar on Harrison in City Park and on West End, so maybe it'll return as they staff up.

Wonder if he was with anyone before the crash celebrating his Birthday? Also wonder if something was slipped in one of his drinks?

I’m guessing he was with people at some point and thinking a pretty good chance it was an issue of volume not being a victim

If I'm using Jason Adams (lambo driver) as a measuring stick, and the difference between what I've heard happened there and this, I'd guess a plea agreement of no better than 20 if his attorneys try to wrap it up early and the victims' families don't want to have to sit through a trial. Unless it's allotted to 3-4 particular judges, he's maxed if he's convicted. There are probably 3 judges who may not even accept 20 in a plea and would give him 22+. Circumstances, victims, it's basically worst case.

If that video/gif is from Canseco's the 31 year old man is getting run over in the video.

Not saying it’s a point of contact, but if you look at the headlights of the car in upper right-hand corner you can see sparks as he flys by.

Could be him hitting that white car though, because it seems to rock after he passes.

I hate pointing out votes, but always love when a post has a 100% down vote ratio, then the following post has the opposite ratio with the same number of total votes. Rare but cool.

The really hard core shite is our your system quick. Drug tests are biased against marijuana.
Coke is out your system in a day. There isn't a test for many research chemicals and lsd and pcp aren't accurate in puss test.

So saying he only had weed in his system does not mean the weed had an affect on the crime. Just that it stays in the body longer than most other things.

Nope, I blame the whole city of New Orleans. The culture of decadence is disgusting. How many people are dead or ruined this past week because of the lowest aspects of degeneracy. Every one who promotes, glorifies and profits from the hedonism bears a piece of the blame.
