In case anyone was wondering each injury count has a max of five years. Each VH count is no more than 30 but not less than 3. If BACK was higher than .15 than at least 5 years must be served.

I can’t say that I’d have the desire to go on living if I were in his shoes today.

Plus people drive too fast on Esplanade.
Absolutely.
Apparently, the driver is the son of a NOPD officer.
Big surprise: it's suspected that alcohol was involved.
It was terrible.

Aren’t you full of groundbreaking news?!

Travis Boys had marijuana (and nothing else) in his system when he executed an officer from the back seat of a police cruiser, caused a 60+ mph wreck on Elysian Fields, fled the scene and caused a 24 hour manhunt.
Alcohol and cocaine leave the system very fast. Weed does not. A 24 hour delay pretty much negates all conclusions from drug and alcohol testing, except that that dude smoked weed at some point in the past month. Just FYI.

So you are arguing that the inability to test for an intoxicated level of marijuana on the spot is reason to keep it illegal, correct?

I wasn’t arguing that at all. Your reading comprehension is fricking terrible

That's what it looks like to me and it would have been right after he ran over the 30 year old woman.

There is a GIF on him running these people down? Akkk, terrible.

It was the lawyer as speculated.

The lawyer, David Hynes, 31, had just married Jorie Kirschbaum Hynes, according to his mother-in-law, Patti Kirschbaum.
"Oh my God, they just got married a year ago," Kirschbaum told The New Orleans Advocate when reached by phone on Sunday. "He was going to be there for a few days only. And she was going to meet him in New Orleans."

The other victim was Sharree Walls, 27, a young professional who had recently worked her way up to become executive director of Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans, friends confirmed. She was in her 10th month in the job at the organization, which provides financial support for projects in underserved communities.

When New Orleans police arrived, they said Toney told them: "I have a drinking problem," adding: "I should have gotten help." Toney had just sped into a group of friends and associates from New Orleans' environmental justice circles, leaving two of them dead. He refused to take a breath test, but police obtained a warrant to draw his blood and test it for the presence of drugs and alcohol, Orleans Parish Criminal District Court records said. Those results were not available Sunday.
