I guess I get what you're trying to say, but frick that. The officer is no less dead because the piece of shite didn't put a bullet in the back of his head execution style.
I have grown increasingly frustrated over the past few days of all these "friends and family" going on and on about how this was out of character and blah, blah, blah.
The dude was obviously a thug pos and did the ultimate thug pos thing.
I hope they make an example out of him. This area is an island of quality in a steadily declining state, and a big part of that is not tolerating this kind of savagery.

Also heard he wrapped the gun in his shirt and threw it away. Obviously not the best move but nothing he did was rational.

Drugs is the easy answer and will make simpler to call him a thug POS. I think you have to consider that there might be a mental illness aspect to this as well.
I'm not saying it releases him from culpability, but this guy might be nuts. Or on drugs. Or just thug POS who is phenomenally stupid with a complete disregard for others. But I'm guessing he was on the crazy train.

So let’s quantify this real fast. Your belief, based on what you know, is that this guy blindly shot in two opposite directions and scored fatal and near fatal hits on two officers still in their cars all on luck? That’s what you believe?
