im just agreeing with you that slavery was ultimately a good thing for african americans but you wont hear the MSM talk about all of the positive impacts it had on their community

Gotcha. Some try to mind read and accuse those facts as support of the horrors of slavery.
The point is that to have a full context discussion it is an error to invest 100% of it on one side.
