I did it once and it was a little sketchy. I flew into an airport and had to follow instructions to a shady office building and retrieve a key to the car out of an office not much bigger than a closet. It was definitely someone doing this strictly as a business, and I really did not like the whole process.

I’m not sure if it’s that app or not but I heard a story from a family member that a married couple they know both drive the big G wagon from Mercedes and on the weekends they will rent them out for $1k (not sure if that is for one night or the weekend). Supposedly, it paid for the notes plus some if they just rented 1 twice in a month.
ETA: they would only rent 1 out at a time since on weekends they didn’t need both vehicles.

It's been available in New Orleans for several months already, so...
Turo is awesome. I rented an almost new BMW X6 50i a few weeks ago in Napa for not much more than a Camry from Enterprise would have been.

I’ve used Turo and had a great experience with it. Would use it again.
Also, this app has been around for years. Don’t know why you’re just now hearing about it.
