I was not impressed by the skill of drivers in Houston. They were not as bad as Alabama drivers, who are unquestionably the worst drivers in America. But a driver did hit me while I walked around The Galleria. It caused my bad ankle to swell up, which was the reason I could not skate in The Galleria. The lady who hit me was driving a black Escalade and her windows were tinted. She yelled at me for walking in a crosswalk and said it was my fault for being hit. I apologized to her and asked her to forgive me, although I think, legally, she was in the wrong. Anyway, I am doing better now.

I liked your review except your comments about Houston not being all that impressive of a food city. You are way off the mark there sonny

TulaneLSU. Tell me more about your Book of Common Prayer. Why are you Episcopalian? Have you given into the LGBTQ movement in the E-church?

Most of the episcopal church’s in Nola are more conservative than those in places like the upper East.

That said, the Pope is just as bad so throw Catholic church’s in that discussion

Sir, this may be the most accurate assessment of the city of Houston I have ever seen. Thank you kindly for your work here.

This is a pleasant read!

What would it take to collect all of your lists into a single list/post? Or creating a book?

A resounding thanks to your 1928 Book of Common Prayer shoutouts!
Hard to find Anglican congregations that use them.
We’re blessed ours in Baton Rouge does.

Mrs M and I are getting ready to do our Evening Prayer. I am using my combination Seabury Press/1928 BCP/King James Bible/w Apocrypha. Certified 1953 John Wallace Suter.
It’s been rebound once already.
quote:

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer;
* hearken, O God of Jacob.
Behold, O God our defender,
* and look upon the face of thine anointed.
For one day in thy courts
* is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a door-keeper in the house of my God,
* than to dwell in the tents of ungodliness.
