When I pass a fair or something like that with the kids in the car and they ask to go I just tell them we not invited. Worked for about 2-3 years but they caught on eventually.

OWA won’t make it unless the slot machines are installed. Heading for being a concrete wasteland. Plans for the indoor water park have been delayed.

LOL
My children age in ranges from 5 to 17 - it might work with the little ones but they will look at the teenagers to see if my spouse and I are telling the truth - sometimes the teens have good poker faces

If you read his posts and notice how he writes “Mother” as the proper name of a person, I get the feeling that he was set for life at birth with a nice Trust fund and doesn’t have to lift a finger to do anything except to post on here. He can travel the world and live off his trust fund as though he is a retiree.

I refrain from criticizing the hypocritical morality he advocates in his post. I refrain because I am thinking he has some kind of handicap either mentally or physically or that he is simply a contrived poster.
This today rubbed me completely wrong. "I live in a state of perpetual fear: that the Mob will get me, that I will descend from a bridge into the abyss, that my favorite Christopher Radko hand blown glass ornament will shatter after falling from one of our twelve Christmas trees. I pray daily that God might quell this fear, but Satan knows where my fears live and constantly puts forth old and new fears.
One of the battlefields on which I challenge Satan is the amusement park. It is on the rides of these parks where I tell Satan to get behind me. I admit these rides frighten me. I nearly become incontinent when I think about some of the roller coasters in this world, but these are the grooming grounds for the real battles in life. It is on these rides where I stand up to my fears and remember that God is in control. Should I die, but die in the loving arms of Christ, what have I lost? Should I lose every cent, every ornament, every shred of public respect I have but still be within Christ’s flock, what have I lost?"
As a Christian I find his whining about the most mundane daily events that he fears is just unseemly.
He ignores the Christian virtues of humility and work. Bragging and flaunting his wealth and celebrating his sloth is not something I consider of good character.
He should pray to find a way to take the responsibility a man has--to contribute, to work. He should join the ministry if nothing else.
Is there a bigger sin than failing to use one's talents? Sloth is one of the 7 deadly sins.

Friend,
A true honor to hear from the Repper Skratcher of Oakdale. I have always admired your work, and any food served at place named Ms. Mae’s, even fried pickles, is bound to be delicious.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

TulaneLSU, what is your opinion of Harry Potter? Is it, like, the Devil's Victuals or whatever?

Thanks for the posts, back in my future neck of the woods.
I don't quite understand you but you put in a lot of effort and I appreciate.
Here's an out there thought. When you hit on things I don't care about I don't read them. Shocking I know, but you do a lot that I find interesting.

What about the land holding in Elberta Alabama-are there any deer there that need shooting? I’m having a bad year here.

Careful hunting around Elberta, Aggies have been known to inhabit the area-

At first, these threads were funny because they were odd. But this post is so long, it’s really sad you spent probably an hour of your life creating this thread.

Friend,
Thank you for what I will assume is the longest post in TD history.
Also, thank you for showing me the only suite I have seen with adjacent double beds.
Truly inspiring.

Owa is actually a Creek Indian word.
It means “big water”.
Owa was formerly called Blue Collar Country.
