Clark Griswold may hold a place close to your heart. But a reckoning is long past due on his actions and his character. My hope is that the next time you watch the film, or even before that, you will think about this post. Perhaps you will never see him or the movie in the same light again.

True. He got his Christmas tree before Thanksgiving, if indeed, they were watching a live broadcast of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. He drives a station wagon. He wears pleated pants, and likely wears cargo shorts in the summer.
I know her as Mae. Can't erase that name from my mind with Bethany.
