Weather is getting pretty rough in down town Lafayette. I think I’ll move off the porch and inside now.

This new tornado warning has a much more significant rotation couplet to it than the last one did. That last one was a waste of time. This one is heading towards Scott. Only radar indicated and no debris signature but we're getting far away from the radar here so you can't see the lowest level where the tornado would be.

Just finished pouring here in Avoyelles for about an hour straight. No significant wind. Not sure if we are out of the clear yet or not.

No doubt, mine is too. I’m in south central Avoyelles. It was a heavy downpour for about an hour. Wind never picked up though like I was expecting.

That cell going through Scott right now is overriding the warm front and becoming elevated.. losing its connection to the surface.

But if that part of the squall line can get back into a more favorable environment it can spawn a tornado. It's trying to form a bookend vortex with strong winds wrapping around back towards the Lake Charles radar on velocity.

Wind threat cranking up with that dry air entrainment into the squall line. Winds ripping in Lafayette. 18 wheeler knocked over on I-10.

Decent rotation heading just east of Abbeville. Doesn't appear like a tornado is on the ground. But you're in the clear in about 10 minutes after this line passes.

Heavy rains but no big winds yet in Milton. That verm parish rotation looks skurry though.
