I think it's fair to take issue with Tucker's position here. His life has been pretty charmed, overall. He's not had to deal with any of the ramifications that the book author discusses. Men are raked over the coals in today's system. It's ok to tell men to man up in certain contexts like being around as a father, but the author's point about disadvantages for men and how the logic dictates they stay away from these situations, is sound, and backed by data.
