Well thats illegal so…..
As of July 1st, it is legal in FL.
FL is where this former hurricane, now downgraded to side-bitch status, is going.

Is Fla fricked? I keep seeing 2-3” of rain forecasted....

I struggle to see why Florida would be in much trouble unless Elsa is way more organized than is reasonable coming off Cuba. It should be moving.

There are some areas that have had alot of rain over the past couple weeks. The standard Flash Flood threat will probably be the extent of it unless, like you said, Elsa makes a run.
We saw what Claudette did in Tuscaloosa where the heaviest rain trained for a while. A threat like that could be possible.

Recon finding that this is still a mess. LLC appears to be washing out? Drifting west and very weak?

My only fear… the past 2 weeks we’ve had not just rain, but downpours for hour’s everyday! Put more rain and some good sustained gusts it could mean some trees coming down.

Damn! The resident OT Mets bowed out on ole girl already?

I'm watching it but the NHC appears pretty locked in at this point. Interest will pick up too as landfall approaches.

I’m only seeing 2-4” of rainfall totals over the next few days?
Posted on 7/5/21 at 10:43 pm to Dlab2013
Rain totals are hard and little track shifts can bring more rain to your location.
Those details are still to be worked out.
