Probably a good bit of rain as you cross the Panhandle.

Where can I get that to be able to click a few locations and determine rainfall forecast?

Go here here and cursor over various areas to see the point total.

the fun began in Geismar, heavy rain followed by sunshine, as it goes with tropical weather

It has been like that out here in Biloxi too. Im not entirely convinced that we arent going to get dumped on when its all said and done. Its been sunny and suffocatingly humid for most of the day. We got one rainstorm that last 10 minutes.

Sun has gone down but still feels like a hot swimming pool outside

Caparotta (WAFB) for one. I saw some others in my Twitter feed, but can't find the posts. Basically they're saying the radar is looking like the higher rain totals are more likely.

Cap is the best there is. If he’s concerned, it might be time to be concerned.

This is from WBRZ about half an hour ago
quote:

Widespread additional amounts of 3-6 inches of rain with “streaks” of 6-12 inches are likely.

Depending where those 6-12 inch dumps are at, could be a tense night for some places that already got a lot of rain the last few days.

I agree with you but the NHC doesn't agree with us.

Either way here in Livingston Parish it's gonna be a wet night
