Fully support if they find evidence a crime was committed in a friendly jurisdiction.

Start convening those grand juries!

Damn that sucks. I planned to vote for him but now I’ll have to see what the other options are now that he’s a convicted felon.

Is acting like this sham changes your vote a new Dem strategy? I see you have said this multiple times.

What was the concealed second crime needed to make the first a felony? A federal law the feds with exclusive jurisdiction did not see anything to prosecute or a state misdemeanor law which would be way past its 2 year statute of limitations?

quote:

Ordinarily, falsifying business records is a misdemeanor under New York penal law. The statute that enhances the offense into a felony requires proof of fraudulent intent to conceal “another crime.” New York’s constitution forbids such vague incorporation by reference; to be valid the statute would have to prescribe what other crimes trigger the felony enhancement. That is especially true in this case, in which Bragg (a) is claiming the other crime is a violation of FECA, for which Congress has vested the Justice Department and the Federal Election Commission with exclusive enforcement jurisdiction, and (b) is alternatively claiming the other crime is a misdemeanor violation of New York election law. In New York, misdemeanors have a two-year statute of limitations, and the potential penalty is less than a year’s imprisonment; yet Bragg is claiming that if one falsifies records (misdemeanor) to unlawfully influence an election (misdemeanor), the prosecutor can somehow inflate the crime into a felony with a four-year prison term and a six-year statute of limitations. If the business-records-falsification statute were intended to allow such a counterintuitive result, it was incumbent on the legislature to spell that out. Empire State lawmakers did not do so.

Then there is the indictment. It put the defense on no notice of what “other crime” Trump was alleged to have concealed. As I contended yesterday, this was not an oversight; Bragg knew it would be controversial to proclaim in clear terms the power and intention to enforce federal law — against a defendant whom the federal agencies with authority to prosecute investigated and as to whom they decided, for sound legal reasons, not to bring charges. The failure to provide a defendant with notice of the charges in the indictment violates the federal Constitution — and it strongly suggests that the grand jury did not find probable cause of the other crimes that Bragg now alleges (there is no “other crime” pled in the indictment).

Not to mention
quote:

...Merchan just delivered the coup de grace instruction. He said that there is no need to agree on what occurred. They can disagree on what the crime was among the three choices. Thus, this means that they could split 4-4-4 and he will still treat them as unanimous...

And
quote:

FEC vendor records reveal Judge Merchan's daughter raked in $9.7 mil from Biden+Kamala during their 2020 campaigns for prez, raising fresh conflict issues. They paid Loren Merchan's Dem consulting firm Authentic Campaigns to sway swing-state undecideds thru social media

We’re supposed to shrug and act like that argument isn’t a step toward authoritarianism?

But it’s Supreme Leader Daddy Trump so it’s ok if he says frick the constitution. Want to know a key point of being in a cult? When you excuse the leader on literally everything and believe every single thing he says.

Again, you've proven my point. Your luxury beliefs of being able to say they should have been prosecuted allow you to play the "above the fray moderate". This is lile having a discussion with a naive child.

Biden???

Never mind the walking dead Pres can’t read off the teleprompter without messing things up, so not sure who the lying puppet master behind the corpse is.

Not knowing who is making decisions and policy while knowing it can’t be Biden has to be a big comfort to Biden voters…

This is the kind of take I’d expect from someone who can’t form an original thought so they just mesh together multiple conspiracy theories into one

Show me the multiple meshed up conspiracies into one you say I wrote.

I have never once in my life thought Biden was a genius mastermind, and now he doesn’t know what year he is in half the time. The point is that we don’t who the puppet master of the corpse is. Keep up!

No one with a brain thinks Biden is actually in charge here. This is our President in a nutshell right now:

I’d more compare it to 1933 Germany where I can’t see any major difference with how the unvaxxed were treated in certain places than a Jew was treated in 1933 Germany.

Where?

Before my comment search only showed “God Emperor” being in your post in this thread, some WWE posts, and one by westcoastag elsewhere.
