I'll admit. I've never voted for a Democrat in my life. A few independents. Otherwise I'd rather stay home.

Yes. My ballot is always mixed because I look at the individual candidate and not just the letter by their name. People who vote straight ticket are dregs on society

All those millions of jobs must have gone to the 1%. I didn't know the 1% worked in manufacturing.

Does it really matter when wages are stagnant and cost of living continues to skyrocket? Cool, you got a job making $12/hr but you still can't afford to fully support yourself, and definitely not your family without still applying for subsidies. The earning power of a manufacturing job is piddly in today's economy

Eh. Thats not true. There is certainly a debate on whether he has anything to do with it, but in general more people are working and wages are now increasing.

There's really not. Trump unshackled American business with deregulations.

We're getting our new bridge, six lanes, 10 miles of new bay-way above storm-surge elevation, a deeper turning basin to accommodate pana-max ships and a new airport.

That's the only wall of Trump's that has.

And everyone on this board makes fun of plant workers or oil workers with no degree but making great money.

We're still in the natural bounce back from the last recession and Trump is patting himself on the back to credit for it. Things will level off soon enough, they're already starting to.

They're really not unless you're an executive. Working class wages continue to fall in comparison to the cost of living

I’m aware bridges are built over night. I was laughing at the whole of trumps serious let’s just start planning the bridge he said he would help pay for it. Trump won’t even remember he promised a bridge in lake Charles a week from now

Oil money is not your average manufacturing job money. The only people making a decent living in an average plant are the operators and supervisors, and theres only so many of those positions to go around.

I voted for Edwards when it was him or Duke. I think that’s it.
