One Harvard psychologist says about 4% of the population are sociopaths ... roughly 12 million Americans.

Can't be that outrageous.
A lot of sexual stuff. Participating in orgies and such.
And I'm not saying it's not true. But it just adds to her conscience-less status.
My problem is that I've grown to care about her as a person.
You've "grown to care about her as a person," or you really want to PIIHB and now you think there's a good chance this can happen after learning of her past sexual history? Be honest.

Yes. A few, but the worst was my brother. Shitty life when he was around. Really shitty childhood, well for that matter it was shitty for everyone till he died.

Bush's fault. Sound familiar? Uh-Oh

sociopaths are common enough you could have run into one.
you could have run into at least a manipulative, uncompassionate person.
look up BORDERLINE PERSONALITY. see if the list of qualities includes some of your woman's life. no one has all the borderline issues.
that's why they are called borderline. they don't quite fit into the pre-existing categories.
anyhow, run away. don't look back. she might be gaining on you.
borderline personality women do not want to be left behind. she will chase you down. She wants to dump you. You can't dump her.
If you want a great night of sex, dump her. See what happens.

I've seen estimates that about 1% of the population are sociopaths. Most aren't violent, but they can be ruthless in their personal and professional lives. It's arguable that sociopathic tendencies confer an advantage in getting to the top in business, politics, etc.

Borderline personality disorder.
I had a ex-girlfriend with this. It was amazing how much she believes her own lies. That was the weirdest thing. She actually seemed to 100% believe her own bullshite. Hard to win an argument with someone like that.

This is what I found. It perfectly describes 1 girl I dated and 1 I just knew well - like either 8/9 or 9/9. The page says you need at least 5/9 to consider this condition.
1.Fear of abandonment
2.Unstable or changing relationships
3.Unstable self-image; struggles with identity or sense of self
4.Impulsive or self-damaging behaviors (e.g., excessive spending, unsafe sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating).
5.Suicidal behavior or self-injury
6.Varied or random mood swings
7.Constant feelings of worthlessness or sadness
8.Problems with anger, including frequent loss of temper or physical fights
9.Stress-related paranoia or loss of contact with reality

There have been clinical studies that have proven this.

I don't know her so you might Be right. But, statistically, men are more likely to be sociopaths and women to have borderline personality disorder.
my guess too

Idk if my ex-wife is a sociopath, but she's definitely a narcissist.

Sociopaths are mostly men. One in 25 are.

is there a sure-fire test you can administer to suss them out or can they lie their way through it?
It would be a wise move for our culture to cull them out of the herd of contestants before the Iowa caucus.
