This is generally referred to as "bitches be crazy" on the OT.

I'd get off of work and notes would be on my car. She would show up at my apt in the middle of the night when I was with another female, banging on my window and shite. This is while she was seeing someone else after we broke up. I saw her out one night and she wanted me to take her home, when I said no she just started wailing on me and punching me in the face.
So yeah she made my life miserable.

According to a book I just read, 3% of the population and they are your Dr., banker, etc. Most have never seen the inside of a prison and never will. Likewise, the vast majority in prison aren't sociopaths.

I know 2 of them, not likely killers, but don't tick them off...one of them has a young boy who already tried drowning some kittens!!! oboy, it run's in the family !!!

One big tip off ..... a lot of unexplained anger. With a good sociopath you will encounter and seemingly cool and calm person. Not so with a Borderline P. Lots of drama. Prognosis: poor.

Admittedly, psych is not my specialty. But IMH*O (*humble), this is a significant overestimate. The studies showing 1-3% and even 4% estimates are rife with selection bias.
Still, regardless the actual percentage, youre 100% correct: they're living among us as seemingly normal people.

Dealing with one right now. It is a nightmare. They do passive agg little moves to set you on edge little by little then bring out the big guns of crazy, and if you try to reason calmly with them without raising your voice, they stonewall you silently, and only wise-crack when you're out of breath reasoning with a smart arse comment unhelpful to conflict resolution.
Easily top 3 worst ppl to deal with- no ethics, no code of remorse, and their word means jack
