I saw this posted in a finance forum. I was shocked. So, I shared.

Could buy a very nice vehicle for the interest the guy will pay
Posted on 9/13/25 at 12:07 pm to Will Cover
I would hate to see that credit score for 10%
I will drive a beater before paying that on a vehicle.

Hope this is a joke and not something you actually purchased.

Seeing that makes me feel fortunate I am not a "car" guy and I don't care as long as it gets me where I need to go.
It is slightly embarrassing when I have to valet but it is worth that.

How does a vehicle with 6k miles qualify as new?
I assume there’s negative equity here to get to that sales price… but good lord how much negative equity? Or is that really a 90k truck with 20k roll?
And if it’s a work truck… great you are saving 25 or so perfect with the deduction.. still an insane amount out of pocket

You must’ve lived in your house for a while?

Do y’all live in a trailer park?

Mortgages were lower in the 50s
Posted on 9/13/25 at 12:26 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
I mean, if you live in rural Louisiana and buy a home for $200,000 and finance it at 3% then I could see it getting down below $1000 per month.

Put a mattress in the bed and live in it.

A lower 600 credit score, and poor life choices.
Posted on 9/13/25 at 12:32 pm to Will Cover
You and people like you are fricking morons. Just no easy way to tell you how stupid you are
Posted on 9/13/25 at 12:33 pm to Will Cover
That’s about exactly what my note is but I have an interest rate of under 3%. It’s paid off soon and I can’t wait
