I have a 04 ranger with 4.0 liter 6 cylinder. I was wondering if its capable of hauling a 1,900# pop up camper with a 700# atv in the bed of the truck. Can't find much on Google. Tia

It might pull it but it isn’t going to stop it

What rear axle ratio and type of transmission?

LINK
It should be ok based on that link, but it's not a factory website. Also your mileage may vary.

It will pull it and you will curse it.

Just this alone would be tough on that truck.

Look at the sticker on the door jamb on the drivers side

^ terrible, terrible, terrible idea.
Are you 16?
Buy a real truck.
ETA - if you try this, I hope Johnny Law pulls you over and gives you lots of tickets and tells you to go no further with this unsafe load plan. You're going to be a hazard on the road and you should probably get beaten just for contemplating this.
Good chance you damage your vehicle too, which would be well deserved.
I'm going to say this to be nice - put the ATV on a trailer and camp out of the bed of your truck and leave the pop up.
And buy a real truck, for fricks sakes.

it "can" do it but its dangerous because you cant stop it without a "lot" of room to slow down first, and it wont be able to pass any slow traffic without a minimum of 3/4 mile of empty road to do it.
if its just getting from point "A" to point "B" for a one time trip sure, but not if its for regular towing.
you need a full sized truck to pull that with, preferably with a v8

A quick google search tells me that your max tow is 3400 pounds.
If you attempt this I would get your brakes serviced first and possibly change the pads if they’re close to half way through their life.

It probably will.
Stopping is the issue. If you want to keep your truck you need to do a full service on your braking system.
You might even upgrade it to EBC brake pads and upgraded calipers.
You better make damn sure you have a kick-arse braking system.

geez dude. A simple "probably not" would have been just fine.

If it were me doing it, I'd leave bright and early and strictly travel back roads to avoid traffic and interstate speeds.
Have you ever gone with just the atv? I'd have to imagine you're going to be squatting pretty bad.

Can one of you morons explain to me why you would change your brake pads out if they are 50%?
You realize that it’s the same material all the way down until you get into the backing right?
Son, you will be fine towing if it flat ground, just give yourself plenty of room between other vehicles.

I'd be concerned about the tongue weight of that trailer combined with the bike in the bed.

I suggest putting the ranger on the trailer and pulling it with the ATV
