fricking Progressives absolutely destroy everything that was grand at one time. Low-life scumbags.

Well then If LSU has no use for his name they shouldn’t have any use for his collection- return it to the family. Why is this so complicated?

Well, if we're gonna do it, let's go all the way. Not only take his name down, uproot every tree he planted if you know what I mean. Leave not a single vestige of his contributions to LSU.

You just never know when his memory might morph into a micro-aggression and disturb someone's safe space.

Seems they should have been just as upset by lack of maintenance to the library.

Pretty sure that wasn’t their responsibility, you shitstain.

How many buildings has your trash family funded? Not counting meth trailers.

Who is "they?" His family? How do you know they weren't.

And there's been plenty of discord about LSU's library needing an upgrade.

I’d bet real money the good shite from the collection is in the hands of $$$ donors or high-ranking faculty.

When I was at LSU, I remember part of his collection in a side room on the second or third floor in glass cases. Including a 1911 pistol and a Thompson sub machine gun. Can you imagine the LSU of today displaying two guns in the library? Even then though, I always thought it surprising they had a damn machine gun just sitting in a glass case unguarded.

I’m amazed neither one of those racist guns didn’t hop right off their pedestals and commit a mass shooting

So they are keeping medals that commend a man for his actions but removed every other sign of him from the university because they disapprove of his actions??

This whole woke world is so fricken backwards and screwed up. The whole idea is just to make up rules as you go to fit your agenda.

Hate to say it, but I’m in the same boat

Hopefully they get their shite together but that’s not looking encouraging

Man, this right here. Take away everything he put in place. Show LSU how much it will really hurt to appease the progs.

LSU is coming off as the biggest assholes in all of this. They don’t want to be associated with his name, but they sure as hell don’t mind keeping his stuff he attained in fighting for this country. What a worthless garbage people.

I think you’re on to something. It would certainly explain the reluctance to give them back all their stuff.
