We need to get her on the OT.

Best Facebook comment: “I hope the man only gets probation for having put up with this Dicknut.”

He definitely got charged with 2nd degree murder. Didn't take the DA long to figure out what to charge him with either. No doubt they are gonna try and get him to plead guilty to manslaughter and get it over with quickly.

Didn't someone say the old man was only gonna get a few months worth of a sentence?

Hmmm...neighbor lady speaks out again

The posts on his FB were sad. Never even heard of Big Lee before yesterday so I have no clue about his character, but the man was murdered. Sick society we live in to see people essentially cheering for a murder. Disgusting.

Big Lee failed us. Where was his gun? His neighbor's car bore an NRA sticker and Big Lee surely knew his adversary was packing. Had Big Lee upheld his God-given right and privilege to bear arms, gloriously provided to 'Mericans by the 2d amendment holy scripture, then it would have been a fair gun battle on ground of his choosing. We were deprived a righteous exercise of God-given Gun Rights.

You met him once. I'm sure Derrick Todd Lee had great one time encounters with lots of people.

You know, if it's anything I feel for him. He probably didn't even realize he was being used.

Seems like the old man used his gun to intimidate people often, and he was comfortable doing so. That's not what a responsible gun owner does

Would that we could ensure all gun owners were responsible, huh?

I seem like the only one that had the same experience with him. I worked at Tyger Gifts in Metairie after Katrina and I was basically assigned to be his personal assistant when he redid his house. I found him all his LSU shite. He was insanely nice and seemed to be a tremendous guy, granted this was over 10 years ago. He would tip me $100 for damn near all of his big purchases and that was a shitload to a kid in college. I for one will miss his eccentric view of life, as I never saw the bad side of him.

Big Lee was not DTL or anywhere close. I spent a few hours with him, including riding in his truck from Metairie to BR. So we talked. Mostly he talked, a lot. I got a good vibe from him and he did me a huge favor. So I’m going to try in some way repay it by sticking up for the guy a little bit. Most folks that pile on him don’t know him and he’a an easy target.

Like I said I get why people don’t like him. Some of his behavior that people have relayed is epic douchebaggery. One of Big Lee’s absolute heroes was Al Copleand. Big Lee worked in Al’s garage. Al was one of the biggest douche bags in the history of the world. Big Lee probably had the mental and emotional age of a 15 year-old. So maybe some of Big Lee’s douchebag behavior was him trying to be like one of his idols. Just like a teenager. I’m not defending his behavior in that way. Just providing a theory. The guy was slow.

Here is to all that have posted negative things about the infamous video. FIRST OF ALL IT IS A JOKE, WE WERE LAUGHING AT PPL WHO CANT DANCE. that was the first day i smiled bc here is the kicker after my daughters asking me to leave the disastrous situation I was in I left w the clothes on my back. I nevser eat and barely sleep bc i am determined to give my babies what they are used to. They have slept by their dad yes bc I want things back to normal as fast as possible.Although it would be a cake walk to call several of you out for way more but it is not worth my time. Grow up for Christ sake and consider the consequences ppl can suffer fot lies and exaggerating stories. Excuse me for being silly. And sorry that ive lost weight when all my friends and family turned their back on me. Stress is a SOB when you and your daughters lives were disrupted on a weekly occasion. All of you have a blessed day, enjoy the video. To the few of you that know I would die tomorrow to see my kids smile, karma shows no mercy. When something happens tragic in your life, I wont judge you, bc im not fake. Thank God Austin knows me and knows my intention but aside from the 4 of you who defended me, the rest of you can interrupt your life to make mine worse, funny thing is at some point each and every one of you probably came to me in the past bc my heart is too big, I dont judge and I know not everything's what it seems.
