I live in the neighborhood. Never got any link or heard about a gofundme. Then again, my life doesn't revolve around emotional judgements like a women. I suspect that 99% of the people gossiping about this don't live anywhere near here, and haven't ever had dealings with either party.

I see it exactly for what it is. Ornery old man got pissed and murdered someone

Yeah and I'm sure the judge is just going to bang his gavel in the first minute of the trial and yell out "GUILTY!" too.

Crazy story for 11:30 am on a Saturday in Metairie either way.
It's devolving into a shithole.

Zillow says 273k whatever that's worth

Holy shite! I'd have thought maybe - MAYBE - $200,000. Of course Zillow probably doesn't know the entire interior is painted purple and gold, has tiger striped shag carpet and purple bathroom fixtures.

Big Lee was thought to be a LSU super fan due to his truck, shrine in his home, and all his decor. He was a fan but I personally think it all for attention because he really didn't know the first thing about LSU football. I once asked his thoughts on the qb situation (2007 preseason) and he couldn't even name one of the qbs. He said something like" I don't pay attention to all that stuff I just like being a fan".

Zillow 615 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie, LA is a single family home. The Zestimate for this house is $273,265

Not saying it's inaccurate, but that sounds crazy to me.

Zillow can be way off at times. My point was simply that the house was probably more expensive than looks would suggest. It's actually pretty accurate for my house.

I mean he has to appear before a magistrate judge to get his bond set, doesn't he?

If the old man doesn't like his truck getting sprayed he's really gonna be pissed getting his guts sprayed daily in prison.

This is a sad day
More sad than any other day when dozens of people in the area die? Why, because some guy with poor taste and a tacky home exterior died? For his family, sure, for strangers, no.

You really think prisoners are lining up to bang a 78 year old white dude in the arse?

I'd hate to live there. It's a good location for a tow truck driver, centrally located and with easy access to I-10. But I don't drive a tow truck. I'd hate to have to wear earplugs to sit in my back yard. The traffic noise would drive me crazy.

Does it say what the square footage of that house is? It looks pretty small.
