My homeowners insurance just went up 150%. We better have some big shite happen since I'm paying that much.

After watching what happened in Houston, I'm having a Kohler 30kw generator installed next week. I'm not going a week or more without power.

That will be a long 6(?) months.

Probably, especially after spending a week in Amarillo one night.

Bawwwwww, where you live now? I'm this close to finding somewhere to live where I don't have to worry about this shite. My anxiety gets really bad this time of year.

It's not worth it IMO. Just replace the capacitor for $20

Just to add for those that font know, there is another major reason for a soft start. By staggering the startup of the fan motor and compressor, it reduces the startup load on your generator. This allows a slightly undersized generator to be able to run the ac unit.

I'm doing this, but I also overbought by about 3kw just to ensure I don't have issues. A 30kw is plenty.

I can start my 4ton central AC off my portable 5500. Worth every bit of that $400.

Is that what she said?

Yeah, I'm probably going overboard, but I'm going Kohler and 30kw. I'm not taking any chances. Of course, my arse isn't hanging around for a 3 or above either!

That chick looks like a blonde version of Colleen Coyle of TWC except has more meat on her. Identical in the face.

I have a bunch of 150kw generators on the farm if we ever have extended power outage I’ll just go hook up to one and drag it to the house.

The neighbors will love the straight pipe exhaust and black smoke all night from a 1980s Onan with allis chalmers engine

That is odd they usually like to shoot for the mouth of the Mississippi on that long of a run.

Apparently, Lake Charles pissed God off.
