You can see the players on the board in Water Vapor imagery. Trough digging into the SE, ridge out east eroding a bit, drier air currently over the SE (evidenced by the fact that I'm not miserable today when just sitting on the porch), you can kind get an idea where/when shear will play a part down the road, as well as the potential that drier air could have an impact. The steering features are pretty clear on this loop.

If I lived in a low-lying and/or poorly drained area or near a fast-rising river or creek in the red and orange areas on the map below, I would be preparing for some issues.

HWRF stalls it out in southern Georgia then it drifts back SW into the gulf and drifts west along the coast

18Z GFS has it in big bend then goes up to SC/ Georgia border then goes west all the way to Georgia Alabama border before heading out the Atlantic
