Yeah, I mostly just looked at it because I wanted to see it's depiction of the rain shield/outer bands, since it is hi-res.

Damn right....I'm never going to be able to replace my patio cover that succumbed tot he last storm we had about a month ago (75+ mph wind gusts at my house).

No, more like later into Wednesday and then Thursday, but some of the outer bands could come on shore before then.

So the "eye" could potentially hit anywheres from Lake Charles to New Orleans it looks like? I've seen several different cones now. Trying to figure out what the prediction for Lafayette is looking like?

Don't worry so much about the exact location that the center makes landfall, as there will be heavy rainfall well away from the center.

Lots and lots o rain. Although I don't think LC will get a ton of it. Unless it decides to come in at Galveston or Beaumont.

Doesn't matter. I'll be at work in a control room. I barely know it's raining.
