So...I guess his ability to fairly grade performance of his white students don't really matter? Or the school is just going to pretend he'll treat them all fairly?

This is a great idea, America...allow your children to be conditioned by the state [actually "fed"] to think college is obligatory/mandatory (despite their likely unprejudiced upbringing), then send them off to "college" [read: progtard factory] and allow for them to be "taught" [read: indoctrinated] by radical hatemongers like this piece of excrement.

The same school that produced Tucker Carlson and George Will is now unwilling to fire this man for overt hate speech. Hell, just his comments about the Obamas are grounds, let alone his atrocious hashtag after the Congressional shooting.
The president issued a statement about academia needing to be a place for controversial speech. I absolutely agree. But if you vigorously defend the radicals on the far left and you remove and dis-invite the radicals on the right (or even the moderates in the middle) then you don't have any semblance of free speech or academic inquiry.
Their argument holds no water unless they develop and protect right wing advocacy departments within the institution to balance out the left wing advocacy departments (such as the Sociology department in which this professor resides).
