I think Cane's is meant to be eaten with the sauce, otherwise, I would not enjoy their tenders by themselves. With the sauce, it doesn't need any flavor because the sauce is plenty enough flavor. But if I didn't like the sauce, I probably wouldn't get Cane's.
Cane's is always consistent to me and they have great customer service, so I think that's why it has gotten so huge.

I prefer CFA over either Canes or Popeyes tenders but Elsie's has the best in BR imo.
I think that had a lot to do with it- they were never dry. They were already slightly spicy- but I remember they also came with extra seasoning packets if you wanted an extra kick. Ate my share of them from the one on Highland, back in my LSU days....

I think Canes has horrible food. I don't get the love for their chicken at all.

Remember Bailey's across the street from the Lee Dr. Canes location? I used to prefer their tenders, but Canes had better sides.

I was just coming in to say that I believe Krispy Krunch makes a more flavorful tender than Cane's.
Cane's tenders are designed to be dunked into their sauce in order to get flavor. Unfortunately I don't do mayo so am forced to dip in ketchup when I want flavor.
Popeyes' and Krispy Krunch's tenders are engineered to taste flavorful on their own.
Cane's tenders are cooked well but very bland. Without the sauce I don't see how they would stay in business.
Since going plant based I haven't had these. I am eagerly awaiting KFC's Impossible Chicken tenders to hit Orlando. Hopefully they will also use them for the donut sandwich.
