That pretty much alludes to what I was saying. Between his family and supporters, there’s no one there pumping the brakes. They tried to play this as them vs a bunch of racist wyt people. No one ever stopped to consider the Texas legal statutes that pretty much strip him of any claim to self defense because of the statements he made. Once you arm yourself with a concealed knife and start daring the victim to do something and find out, you are 100000% fricked.

we lived in a nice area that is consistently praised as one of the best suburbs you can live in in america. Whenever people talk about the schools it almost always begins with "they're so diverse". Instant red flag for me. Our kids aren't even elementary school aged yet (but close) so we moved 2 miles down the road into a different school district that is much, much less diverse and almost all white. And wouldn't ya know it, it also happens to be a unanimous top 3 system in the state and the city has practically zero crime whatsoever. Crazy how all of those factors go hand in hand..

I believe I also read that one of Karmelo's own witnesses admitted to Karmelo saying "touch me and find out"
So that's bad for him to say the least

My wife summarized the first 2-3 defense witnesses and it was not a great day for "Melo"
Although her telling me they gave him a supersized chair and suit to make him look smaller and more juvenile cracked me the frick up.

Yep. It’s high time we stop looking at all this as coincidence and call it for what it is. I’m done. I’ve never been one to not recognize patterns but now I’ve gotten to the point I’m done being subdued about it.
I cannot be around these people unless I know them very well and have a history with them. This was at a fricking track meet. It’s not like it’s at a high emotion sport like football or basketball where the crowds get into it. And even at those locations an instance like this shouldn’t be expected with civilized people.

That's hilarious, but also kind of smart. Their best hope is that the jury sees him as a young child defending himself from a scary aggressor, I think, because the facts of the case are really bad for him.
