School isn't worth attending if their recruiting is so poor that they don't realize the situation the remaining girls are in. You think schools simply recruit on 1st/2nd/3rd place finishes?
I'm certain the girls times & personal best times are more important than some individual track meet. Especially under these unique circumstances.

And why would they give a scholarship to the 3rd place finisher over 1st & 2nd who will also qualify to compete in college? As more transgender women compete, biological women will move farther and farther down in the rankings.

I mean, an average D1 male basketball player would make a solid living in the WNBA.
