Since Kennedy created and imposed on everyone the "right to have the government give official approval to your homosexual relationship", his has become a pointless debate.
However, your assertion that it has no bearing on society at large is just that, an assertion. You are implicitly arguing that what a society collectively believes and practices concerning the formation of families is of no consequence, and clearly that's false.

I have absolutely no issues with this except for
1) don't get triggered when you get correctly labeled as having a mental disorder
and
2) don't try to classify yourself as a "protected class" when, in your own admission, you do this for "shock value"

I'm guessing he didn't have species neutral toys growing up and hir? ambitions were arbitrarily limited by outdated ideas about what humans can and should do.
