Train derailment yesterday in Fort Worth

These are sitting about 100 yards behind our facility. I take that road into my office each day. They had removed the objects in the road overnight and I was able to drive by this morning. Crazy scene.

Weird. There was a train derailment up here in Northern Indiana as well. 30 cars, no hazmat.

Fun Fact: Weird glowing circles around the moon cause an increase in train derailments.

Good thing is that looks pretty tame for a derailment. Mostly unloaded cars except for that one covered hopper that looks like it was carrying salt or maybe plastic pellets.

I’m literally visiting Fort Worth right now AND I flew here on Southwest. This is going to be me.
(Speaking of trains and Fort Worth - why is Saginaw listed as a nice suburb of the city? I wasn’t feeling all that cozy driving up to the monstrous grain facilities.)

I don’t remember which link. I think it was a Reddit comment plus the four star rating from Niche.com. Its honestly been hard finding a nice suburb that doesn’t require buying a $750k+ house. I liked Keller and Roanoke though.
I did Heim yesterday for dinner. It was great. Interviewing all day today and then probably eating near Dallas Love before my flight.
