I have actually done my own unscientific research on this matter because it puzzles the shite out of me too. I have concluded that there are a shite-ton of people that have zero concept of maintaining the same speed on the highway. Also, there are way more than I could believe that simply do not understand how to use the cruise control. And I am also surprised by how many I found just do not like cruise control because they are either afraid of it or don't trust it. Believing it might actually get stuck

When a car on the interstate slows down to let someone merge in that's trying to get on the interstate going 50 miles per hour.

Also all these are great examples of why a 2 lane interstate system sucks. 3+ Lanes (hello i-10 w near Lake Charles) is the tits.

One of my big pet peeves is a four lane highway, I'm coming up to a light and I want to turn right.
The one fricking car in front of me stays in the right lane at the red light, instead of getting over into left lane, so people behind them can turn on red.
Many of times, I've swung into the left lane and turned right in front of them, all the while telling them that they are #1.

Drive around on the shoulder or if you can’t then wait 3 fricking minutes for the light to turn green. I’m not looking around to see if the people behind me want to turn right. How fricking selfish for you to expect people to move over to the left lane at the last minute just so you can turn right.

They aren't blocking a right turn only lane it's clearly marked straight OR turn. But classy act pulling a dangerous move to save a few seconds. I hope you run across a Baw that suddenly decides he wants to turn right and puts your insurance premiums through the roof.

Nothing bothers me more when a light turns green and nobody moves for several seconds. Even worse is people that leave 3-5 car lengths between them and the car in front when they are stopped.
6 cars get through the light when 10-12 easily could have.

When all lanes are open and the first person to a light is a fricking idiot in the right lane who is going straight which prevents everyone else from turning right. Fixing that alone would basically eliminate heavy traffic in my city.

I hate the two lane left turn and the fricker that has to take that left then go rt, gets in the far left lane then fricks up traffic because the idiot now has to get over with everyone turning.
I see this shite everyday. Just get in the rt of the turning lanes if you have to turn right after it.
